Expert in mining law, corporate matters, mergers & acquisitions, contractual, regulatory and compliance matters, with more than 25 years of experience leading legal teams in the international mining industry. He has vast experience in large investment projects in the fields of mining, infrastructure, transportation, and railroads.

Before LAWGIC Abogados, he was Senior Of-Counsel and partner at Núñez Muñoz Abogados; Vice-President and General Counsel at Kinross Gold Corp.- Chile; Vice-President of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Teck Resources Ltd.-Chile; Vice-President of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Aur Resources Inc. – South America; and Chief Executive Officer at Aur Resources Chile Ltda; General Counsel at Empresa Nacional de Minería (ENAMI); Director of Legal Affairs at Cambior, Inc., Andes Region; and director of several mining companies.
